The West Gate Bridge Strengthening project is progressing and will continue through the best part of 2010.
As part of these strengthening works safe internal access is needed for workers working inside and underneath the bridge, lanes on the inside will need to be closed for this reason.
We have closed the lanes in the opposite direction to peak to minimise disruption to motorists.
A shuttle flow/contra flow arrangement will be in place on Hyde Street between 6.30am - 2.30pm, August 6 - 14 2010
Hyde Street will be closed to traffic from 9.30am - 2.30pm from 7 September to 9 September 2010
Double lane closures will be in place on the West Gate Bridge between 7pm - 5am & 8pm - 5.3oam Click the link for further information
Motorists should be aware of the changed traffic conditions on Williamstown Road on-ramp commencing 17 March 2010 until the end of the WGBS Project.
