The West Gate Bridge Strengthening project is progressing and will continue through the best part of 2010.
As part of these strengthening works safe internal access is needed for workers working inside and underneath the bridge, lanes on the inside will need to be closed for this reason.
We have closed the lanes in the opposite direction to peak to minimise disruption to motorists.
Weekdays from Monday, 1 March to Wednesday, 31 March - 10am to 7pm
Weekdays from Monday, 1 March to Wednesday, 31 March - 5am to 2.30pm
A double lane closure will be in place on the West Gate Bridge between 8pm - 5am, 2 March until 5 March 2010.
