Protecting and respecting the environment is an important part of the Monash-CityLink-West Gate project. It is about building (and eventually driving) a more sustainable M1.
A key objective of planning and construction stages of the upgrade has been developing initiatives to help ensure the project minimises any environmental impacts and actually enhances the local environment now and into the future.
All project partners are committed to working with local communities to deliver a project that meets its responsibilities both during and after construction.
